A Bundle of Hope

Baby Bank

Who we are

A Bundle of Hope Baby Bank is part of The Hope Project.  We are a registered charity based at New Hope Baptist Church in Coseley. We are volunteer led and rely on donations from our local community to help supply essential items for new born and toddlers up to 2 years of age, and for families in need of extra support.

New Baby Bundle

This includes everything from a Moses basket, stand, and all necessary bed linen, clothes, nappies, sensory and development items, bathing and changing equipment plus many more items. We also include a pack for new moms which includes sanitary and toiletry items.  Each family who receives a new baby bundle can return for a follow up pack once baby is born [stock dependant]

   A typical New Baby Bundle

0-2 Years of age

We supply essential items for babies and toddlers up to 2 Years of age.  This includes; nappies, cotton wool, wipes, sensory and development toys/books.  We also supply various donated items if suitable and in good condition.

Who Can make Referrals ?

Health Visitors, Midwives, GP, Family Centres, relevant charities, care providers, community and professional organisations.

How to make a referral

Each organisation will be able to identify the needs of their own client in order to make a referral. If you have identified a need, then we will do our very best to supply that need.

Please complete a referral voucher [these are already held by some organisations and health/family centres] and give that to your client to bring with them. If you are collecting on their behalf, then you need to bring the relevant voucher with you. We are unable to give out any items unless we are in receipt of the voucher.  If vouchers are not already available to you, then you can request vouchers by contacting us and we will happily send you a supply of them.

I need support but I'm not sure what to do?

If you are in need of support and would benefit from one of our new baby bundles or have a baby or a toddler up to 2 years of age and need emergency supplies, then please speak to your care provider e.g Your GP, Families Centre, Midwife, Health Visitor etc.  If you are unsure then please contact us by email or telephone and we will happily provide you with further information.

Collections - Wednesdays 11am - 1pm. [please use front entrance]

We are COVID Secure.  Please come to the front entrance of New Hope Baptist Church, Coseley, where you will need to wait outside the roadside gate if there is someone already there before you. If you arrive and there is no-one in front of you please press the front door bell and await a member of staff.  Please do not come if you or a member of your family have any symptoms of COVID, or have had any symptoms in the last 14 days, or have been asked to isolate by the NHS Track and Trace, or if you have travelled abroad and are in quarantine.

Donations

Our work relies on the generosity of our local community; without which, we would struggle to provide for families in need.  Please can you continue to support A Bundle of Hope Baby Bank by donating new items, or nearly new provided they are in good condition please: not forgetting new moms who also appreciates these essential items.  We respectfully ask that items such as toiletries, sanitary items, nappies etc are unopened.  We encourage environmentally products where possible please.

Why not consider a financial donation? All of the monies received are used to purchase items or equipment for needy families.

 Our Amazing Friends and Supporters

We could not do what we do without our amazing friends and supporters.  The names below reflect those organisations who not only believe in A Bundle of Hope, but have gone the extra mile in getting this project up and running with us.  They care about our communities and have demonstrated this through their generosity, help and advice.  Thank you so much!
